TUI, a global airline headquartered in Germany, unveiled plans for a new route from Newcastle Airport, United Kingdom, to Agadir, Morocco, set to begin in summer 2025 as part of the company’s destination boost, according to a press release.
Andrew Flintham, TUI UK Manager Director, stated “We are seeing an increase in demand from the Northeast region, which is why we have added 30,000 seats to our summer 2025 program, including an exciting new route to Agadir, Morocco.”
Leon McQuaid, Director of Aviation Development at Newcastle International Airport, welcomed the new route with confidence, stating, “I am sure it will be a popular holiday choice for the North East traveling public thanks to its world-class watersports, mix of budget and luxury hotels, as well as a surrounding landscape of mountains and desert. It’s great that passengers can now fly direct to Morocco with TUI, from their local Airport!”
The air flight service provider also intends to expand its travel offerings to include additional popular destinations such as Greece, Turkey, and Spain.
