Virgin Hotels Collection will open six brand new Riads at Sir Richard Branson’s magical retreat located in Kasbah Tamadot in the Atlas Mountains, starting 1 July 2024, according to the Hotel News Resource website.
After a period of partial closure and revamp in the aftermath of the 8 September devastating earthquake, the hotel will re-open entirely on 15th October 2024, as riad and hotel bookings are now open.
Newly designed Riads at Kasbah Tamadot offer expanded accommodations with three bedrooms that can sleep up to 10 guests, each featuring a private bathroom, lounge area, and terrace. A highlight is the Rooftop Tented Suite with a hot tub.
Riads also include private pools and traditional Moroccan decor. A new restaurant, Asayss, will open in July.
Despite earthquake damage, restoration efforts are in progress, supported by the community and the Eve Branson Foundation, raising a staggering £1 million via its Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund.
Riads will be available for booking from July 1st, starting at 45,100 MAD, and the hotel will reopen mid-October, with rates starting at 7,200 MAD for two people sharing.
