Morocco won nine medals on Friday, including two gold, four silver and three bronze, at the 13th All-Africa Games in Accra, which will run until March 23.
Khadija Mardi (+81kg) and Widad Bertal (54kg) took home two gold medals in boxing. Yassine Elouarz (75kg) and Rabab Cheddal (52kg) both won silver medals in the same event.
Also in boxing, Hamza Essaadi (48 kg), Imad Azoui (54 kg), and Yasmine Mouttaki (50 kg) won bronze.
Saad Hammouda (men’s high jump) and Ennadi Noura (women’s 400m hurdles) won the remaining two silver medals.
So far, Morocco has won 34 medals at the Accra All-Africa Games, including nine gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze.
