CIH Bank has partnered with Google to introduce Google Pay, a new payment experience for Mastercard cardholders, according to a press release by CIH on Tuesday.
The partnership offers customers a secure, fast, and seamless payment solution for both online and in-store transactions. Payments can be made using Android smartphones and Wear OS devices through Google Pay.
To use this service, customers must register their bank cards in the “Google Wallet” app prior to making any payment.
Security is crucial in this creativity. Advanced methods such as “tokenization” are used. Tokenization replaces the card number with a distinct virtual code for each transaction, considerably lowering the risk of fraud.
The addition of the “Find My Device” feature enables customers to quickly lock their cell phones in case of loss or theft.
Jenny Cheng, Vice President and General Manager of Google Wallet, stated that Google Pay provides users in over 70 countries with a quick, easy, and secure payment solution through their mobile phones.
Amal Mouhoub, CIH Bank’s Deputy General Manager in charge of Marketing and Communication, expressed confidence in the association with Google, highlighting the bank’s dedication to offering innovative and safe payment solutions.
