The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and LCI Education, a Canadian education organization, signed a partnership agreement, positioning the latter as an Official Partner of the Atlas Lions. The agreement was signed Thursday in Rabat, and seeks to strengthen connections between education and sports within the Kingdom.
LCI Education, a diverse learning community of 12 higher education institutions with 23 campuses across five continents–including HEM and Collège LaSalle in Morocco–collaborated with the FRMF to promote Moroccan football and uphold its sports values, which have attracted national and international recognition at multiple competitions.
The collaboration is expected to yield various joint initiatives, according to a press release by the organization, including prioritizing LCI Education institutions for the training needs of the FRMF, promoting specialized programs such as a Master’s in Sports Team Management, and advocating for causes such as school retention, youth sports promotion, and annual recognition of Baccalaureate students’ achievements, in addition to other projects.
Claude Marchand, President and CEO of LCI Education, reiterated the importance of uniting education and sports for making a long-term impact, reaffirming the shared ideals of higher education, and for Moroccan football overall.
“This innovative partnership signifies our commitment to merging education and sports to create a lasting impact, thereby strengthening the bonds and shared values between higher education and Moroccan soccer,” Marchand stated.
The specific details of the joint endeavor are yet to be revealed in the coming months, with both parties dedicated to promoting synergy between knowledge and physical activity.
