Morocco will send relief to North Gaza on Monday, to be comprised of an airdrop via six Hercules transport aircraft from the Royal Moroccan Air Force, according to multiple Israeli news outlets reporting from the Israeli Kan public broadcaster.
The Moroccan jets will land at Ben Gurion Airport for fueling before taking off to deliver humanitarian supplies in the north of the Strip.
According to Kan, the airdrop was arranged with Israel and is set to take place on the first day of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month.
The United States and Jordan are among the countries that have conducted airdrops in Northern Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of civilians are living in deplorable conditions following more than five months of conflict.
Difficulties in providing help via terrestrial routes prompted governments to consider airdropping assistance in addition to preparations for sea delivery.
Many Arab outlets exposed videos of American aid showing that the food sent to the Strip is not “halal” and is expired.
