The Moroccan Prison Administration (DGAPR) firmly denied allegations of illegal recruitment intermediaries, condemning them as “nothing more than elaborate scams,” in a press release on Tuesday.
The Administration was responding to audio recordings running on social media by an anonymous individual who allegedly offered assistance to candidates sitting for the entrance exam in exchange of money, proposing a shortcut to join the DGAPR without really qualifying for the job.
The DGAPR swiftly reported the case to the competent judicial authorities to prosecute those responsible of these fraudulent claims.
In its statement, the Administration urged all applicants to remain vigilant, dismiss these erroneous accusations, and report any similar acts.
“The entrance exam is organized pursuant to the principles of integrity, merit, and equality, strictly in accordance with existing laws and regulations,” concluded the DGAPR.
