The first-ever Morocco Gaming Expo, sponsored by Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, is scheduled to take place from May 24-26 in Rabat.
Designed to boost the gaming industry in Morocco, especially in the new Rabat Gaming City, Morocco Gaming Expo 2024 will create a hub for both national and international gaming companies right in Morocco’s capital.
Rabat Gaming City is poised to become a center for high-quality employment and a focal point for cultural and social innovation and is expected to become one of the largest gaming hubs in Africa and the MENA region, according to the event’s press release.
The Expo offers a platform to connect with other global companies in the sector, establish partnerships nationally and internationally, and participate in training sessions covering various aspects of gaming.
It will feature an exhibition space primarily dedicated to the Moroccan ecosystem for Rabat Gaming City, including startups and incubators, universities and training providers, funding organizations, and suppliers of the necessary gaming infrastructure (i.e., hardware, telecom networks, data centers, and cloud services).
There will be also a space for conferences and training sessions on gaming led by high-level national and international experts, covering all facets of the gaming industry. The expo will also include a dedicated area for tournaments, including e-sports, team strategy games, and multiplayer battle games.
A series of workshops, discussions, and innovative concepts will bring gaming into the academic and cultural realms.
The expo is free and open to the public upon registration.
