Minister of Health and Social Protection Khalid Ait Taleb inaugurated 40 urban and rural health centers in the Drâa-Tafilalet region on Wednesday, including two kidney dialysis centers.
The Minister launched five urban and rural health centers of the first level and nine rural health clinics in the region of Errachidia. This includes “Mustapha Maani” and “Moulay Ali Cherif” urban health centers, in addition to the rural health centers “Zaouia Jdida,” “El Mansouria,” and “Mezguida,” as well as the “Ksar Jdid,” “Zaouiet Amelkis,” “Ouled Chaker,” “Douira,” “Jbil,” “Al-Ghurfa,” “Touroug,” and “Igoudmane” rural clinics.
Services were launched for a dialysis unit at the “Asrir” rural health center, as well, which will provide services to patients with kidney failure in the community of Ferkla El Oulia and neighboring communities, in lieu of them needing to travel to the Goulmima center.
In the Midelt region, 13 urban and rural health centers, and seven health clinics resume work after being renovated and upgraded. This includes “Tahmidante” in Er-Rish and the “Souk El Had” urban health center, in addition to the rural health centers of “Aghbalou,” “Kerrandou,” and “Zaouiet Sidi Hamza,” as well as the “Ait Izdeg,” “Ait Amghar,” “Tamayousst,” “Amresid,” “Mzizel,” “Tillichte,” and “Toulal” rural health centers. Those also on the up-and-running list include the rural clinics of “Taghazout,” “Bouayach,” “Zebzat,” “Ait Khojmane,” “Ait Attou,” “Bertat,” “Ait Ouahi Ouhki,” and “Tazmamart.”
In the Tinghir region, the “Alnif” dialysis center opened its doors to cater for the Alnif community and neighboring vicinity, in addition to the services of the health center “Imiter,” as well as the rural clinics of “Fazou” and “Tirka.”
In the Zagora region, Ait Taleb launched the rural clinic “Nasrate” in the territorial community of Tagounite.
