Head of Morocco’s National Police (DGSN) and of Territory Surveillance Services (DGST), Abdellatif Hammouchi, met with Germany’s Head of the Federal Criminal Police Office, Holger Munch on Tuesday.
Munch is currently on a working visit to Morocco and is leading a sizeable security delegation.
Hammouchi discussed with his German counterpart the levels of bilateral cooperation in various security issues of mutual interest, as well as mechanisms by which to develop and enhance them in order to serve the interests of both countries in the security field, said DGSN in a press release.
The two officials also discussed several ongoing collaborative security initiatives designed to enhance synchronization of technical assistance with regard to police training.
This meeting reflects the shared commitment of both countries to support and develop bilateral security cooperation, thereby ensuring unified perspectives and coordinated efforts to address various security threats and challenges, added DGSN.
