The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) has issued a heightened orange-level warning for multiple provinces in the Kingdom, signaling an imminent weather disturbance on Monday and Tuesday and advising residents to exercise vigilance and adhere to safety measures.
Significant snowfall of 20-50 cm (above 1,300 meters) is anticipated between Monday at 3:00 P.M. and Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Sefrou, Khenifra, Tinghir, Azilal, Taza, Béni Mellal, Al Haouz, and Midelt, according to the orange level bulletin.
Residents in Al Hoceima, Figuig, Nador, Driouch, Guercif, Berkane, Jerrada, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, Sefrou, Taza, Boulemane, and Midelt are urged to brace for strong wind gusts ranging from 75-95 km/h from Monday at 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
The warning persists on Tuesday, from 12:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M., in provinces such as Figuig, Nador, Driouch, Boulemane, Essaouira, Errachidia, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Midelt, Tiznit, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Taroudant, Sidi Ifni, Tan-Tan, Guelmim, and Tarfaya.
