Real Madrid (RMA) Brazilian forward, Vinicius Junior, currently on a break in Marrakech, visited a local secondary school in Marrakech–a city recognized as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) Learning City–where he engaged with students and demonstrated his commitment to education initiatives.
Displaying photos of the international star enjoying time with young fans, UNESCO greeted Vinicius as “UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education for All” on its official “X” social media page.
The UN institution added, “Thank you, Vinicius Junior, for creating such a memorable moment for the kids and continuously championing UNESCO’s mission. Together let’s harness the power of education!”
The school visit commenced with Vinicius interacting with pupils in the courtyard in a “pick-up” game of football, which was documented and disseminated on social media platforms through video clips and images, capturing the children’s enthusiasm and amusement.
In addition to the meet-and-greet photo ops with the pupils, the football player documented his Moroccan trip on Instagram, posting photographs of himself donning Morocco’s national team jersey belonging to the Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi.
