UK Calls on China to Pressure Iran into Curbing Houthi Activities in Red Sea

Britain urged China on Friday to exert its leverage on Iran and convince it to curb Houthis’ acts of war in the Red Sea, several news outlets reported.

During the Munich Security Conference in Germany, which brought together top foreign policy officials, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi affirmed the importance of two countries’ ongoing engagement in various areas crucial to the UK national interest.
