Africa Business Insider ranked Morocco’s Red City, Marrakech, as the best business destination on the African continent thanks to its hosting of 1,221 geotagged posts, while Casablanca was placed seventh with 339 geotagged demarcations, as reported by the periodical on Thursday.
The Nigerian City of Lagos was the runner-up in the ranking with 935, a sizeable gap between itself and Marrakech. Cape Town, South Africa came in third place with 572 geotagged posts.
These cities possess contemporary infrastructure, cutting-edge conference facilities, and strong corporate climates which encourage networking and collaboration among various sub-sectors.
While Africa boasts thousands of business-friendly destinations, some stand out over others due to historical precedent, innovation, development, and hospitality, among other considerations.
