British news outlet “Express” invited travelers to visit Agadir as a hotspot and unparalleled beach destination in the month of February, in an article dubbed “The beautiful beach hotspot four hours flight from the UK and it’s 25 degrees in February,” published on Friday.
Only a four-hour flight separates the city of Agadir, with its nice and warm weather, from the all year-long foggy and cold United Kingdom, said the article penned by senior travel reporter Esther Marshall.
Even for a weekend, the Sous city could be a great and non-expensive escape to have some winter fun, or visit the Crocoparc which is home to more than 300 crocodiles.
The incredibly six-kilometer-long sandy beach “Plage d’Agadir” which is surrounded by restaurants and stores, is a must see. Tourists can also visit the city’s souk to buy gifts and fresh local produce.
“Agadir beach is wonderful. The sand is so soft and clean, there are sun loungers and shades to rent,” posted one visitor on Tripadvisor.
Thanks to its seaside location, Agadir boasts some great seafood dishes, and the tourists can choose between them and traditional Moroccan cuisine like tagines and couscous.
