A 3.5 magnitude tremor struck the southeast of Relizane, Algeria on Friday, according to the Algerian Center of Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG).
The quake was detected at 10:03 a.m. local time.
The epicenter was recorded at 8 kilometers from the outskirts of Relizane, which itself lies 135 km to the east of the major coastal city of Oran.
The CRAAG also recorded a 4.3 magnitude earthquake 11 km southwest of Oued el Djemaa, Algeria last Saturday. It occurred at 06:28 P.M.
No casualties have been reported so far.
