Strong winds with areas of blowing dust are expected on Wednesday in several regions of Morocco, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
The DGM’s meteorological alert bulletin issued an orange-level warning indicating that strong winds (from 75 to 95 km/h) are expected to blow from midnight until 10 P.M. in the regions of Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, Tetouan, and Chichaoua.
Wind speeds between 70-85 km/h from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. will also impact the provinces of Fahs-Anjra, Mdiq-Fnideq, Jerada, Boulemane, Taza, Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, Sefrou, Ifrane, Nador, Oujda Angad, Berkane, Driouch, and Tanger-Assilah.
