Air Arabia Maroc, a leading low-cost airline, recently announced the opening of new routes from its newly built Tetouan (Northern Morocco) base “Saniat R’mel” to four international locations: Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels, and Malaga, according to a company statement.
Direct flights from Tetouan airport will link travelers to these new destinations in western Europe beginning March 31.
With seven bases in Morocco and —Casablanca, Nador, Oujda, Fez, Tangier, Rabat, and Tetouan—and now operating over 60 routes, the carrier has broadened the scope of its global footprint and extended its reach within the country.
“We are delighted to expand our presence in Europe with the launch of flights from Rabat and Tetouan,” said Adel Abdullah Ali, CEO of the Air Arabia Group, who is excited about the new venture.
“This expansion contributes to the growth and accessibility of air transport in the Kingdom, while reaffirming our commitment to providing our passengers with seamless travel options and value-based offers,” he said.
