King Mohammed VI returned to Morocco today after concluding a private visit to Singapore, preceded by another one to the Seychelles, following an official state visit to the United Arab Emirates on December 4, according to well-informed sources.
While in the UAE, King Mohammed VI and President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan signed a novel, long-term partnership agreement in Abu Dhabi to fortify bilateral relations and cooperation through active economic partnerships that promote common interests and contribute to both nations’ development.
The return of the monarch to the kingdom today coincides with the 80th anniversary of the presentation of Morocco’s Independence Manifesto to the French protectorate, a proud day for Moroccans.
The commemoration is a time to reflect on the King’s and Moroccan people’s heroic achievements throughout Morocco’s history.
