Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande Marlaska reaffirmed on Monday the robust and unwavering bond between Spain and Morocco, categorically dismissing any room for skepticism regarding their neighborly and amicable diplomatic ties, in a recent interview-article with the Barcelona-based journal LaVanguardia.
Marlaska emphasized the enduring trustworthiness of Morocco as a reliable partner, echoing sentiments previously articulated by the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, on multiple occasions. “Morocco has always been a reliable partner; we have created fraternal links over time. In all senses, the highest possible degree of loyalty,” he said.
In answering questions concerning the implementation of the customs trade system, the Spanish official stated unequivocally, “All agreements take time to implement, and the delay is unrelated to any lack of clarity from Morocco or resistance on its part.” This message attempted to clear up any misconceptions about the procedural delays.
Spain and Morocco are fortifying their strategic partnership by exploring new creative prospects and are working diligently to expand their collaboration into promising horizons for the future.
