The Digital Maroc School, an institute specialized in digital vocations, has opened in Agadir, in partnership with the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), hoping to bolster the city’s digital environment and aiming to train 900 young people in digital professions over the next three years.
The school offers a range of intensive, state-approved digital training courses.
The first six-month course will focus on web development and digital marketing, with plans to integrate artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and the metaverse.
Accessible to all with no prerequisites, the training takes a practical, hands-on approach.
Three additional sites will be opened to cover 18 communes in the Souss-Massa region.
The five top graduates will receive INDH funding to set up their own businesses, supported by a club of Moroccan investors for export startups.
The first class will benefit from boot camps, internships, and entrepreneurship training and support. The pilot site will provide a training cycle for 25 young beneficiaries.
As a branch of “The Digital France School,” a free, inclusive, social school founded on solidarity, the Mairie de Cergy has begun a collaboration with the Ali Bouaida Foundation to establish a network of manufacturers in southern Morocco, namely in the Oued Noun area.
