The government has set up a new electronic portal at ‘www.alhoukouma.gov.ma’ to improve official government communication and provide better services to citizens and residents, the Head of Government’s Department announced in a press release Wednesday.
The portal will serve as a gateway to disseminate information about all governmental programs and activities, providing citizens with comprehensive explanations to better understand government procedures and actions and the progress of various initiatives through precise and up-to-date information.
The portal, available in Arabic and accessible via computers and smartphones, outlines the three main pillars of the government’s program, which are “strengthening the foundations of the social state,” “promoting the economy and creating employment opportunities,” and “ensuring the Administration’s efficiency in the service of the citizen.”
The platform allows individuals to view portions of King Mohammed VI’s addresses and provides information on royal activities.
The website also has a page on “Latest Developments,” separated into two components: an “information space” that provides real-time updates and a “files and articles” section that goes into numerous themes in depth, according to the press release. A “video library” and social media links are also offered.
The site also contains an interactive page where residents may voice their concerns and offer ideas about various government programs and policies, thereby enhancing much-needed citizen engagement.
