Morocco’s carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) received accolades as the best airline in Africa in Global Traveler Magazine’s 20th “GT Tested Reader Survey.”
The award was presented at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
In 2023, RAM was also named “Best Regional Airline in Africa” at the Skytrax Airline Awards for the ninth consecutive year, said the company in a statement, noting that this distinction reaffirms Royal Air Maroc’s position as a regional leader in commercial aviation.
“This new award is a testament to RAM’s resilience and determination, particularly in a constantly evolving global context. It is the result of the unwavering commitment of our employees, who work tirelessly to provide quality service at every stage of the customer journey,” said RAM CEO Hamid Addou.
The Oneworld Alliance, of which RAM has been a member since 2020, also received several awards this year. It was voted Best Airline Alliance for the 14th consecutive year in the GT Tested Reader Survey Awards and won the Best Airline Alliance award at the Business Traveler Awards, as well.
Oneworld was also designated as the Favorite Airline Alliance by Trazee Travel readers for the sixth time.
RAM and Oneworld continue their commitment to providing exceptional customer service and an unparalleled travel experience.
The GT Tested Reader Survey is a customer critique of the air transport and high-end tourism industry. It is organized by Global Traveler, an international monthly magazine with a circulation catering primarily to affluent business and leisure travelers.
Approximately 20,000 magazine subscribers participated in the voting for this survey.
