King Mohammed VI paid a private visit to Seychelles on Sunday, following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates where he had been on an official trip since December 4, 2023.
During his visit to the UAE, President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the monarch at the Qasr Al Watan Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, as the parties signed a partnership agreement that aims to expand bilateral relations and cooperation through active economic partnerships, serving the mutual interests and contributing to the development and prosperity of both nations.
The Seychelles, a nation off the coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean, comprises a chain of approximately 115 islands, with its capital city being Victoria. The country covers an area of 459 square kilometers, and as of 2017 contained a population of 95,843.
