Morocco’s Agadir is considered the perfect destination to visit, as it is one of the most beautiful cities in the country with six miles of seafront offering endless sunbathing opportunities, according to British newspaper The Daily Express.
The newspaper said that Agadir boasts one of the finest beaches in Morocco, including the renowned Taghazout Beach, which also serves as a charming fishing village. This destination is a haven for water sports enthusiasts, with over 15 surf spots to explore.
Renowned UK holiday companies like TUI and EasyJet offer package holidays to Agadir, as the former described it as Morocco’s premier holiday destination that checks all of the boxes with the surfing crowd.
After being rebuilt following a devastating earthquake in the 1960s, Agadir now features palm-lined avenues, numerous cafes and restaurants, and beautiful parkland, the newspaper added.
In the city center, visitors can enjoy a variety of shopping opportunities and sample local products like argan oil and amlou. The village of Taghazout, just a 30-minute drive from the city center, is a favorite among British tourists for its excellent surfing conditions. Agadir plans to develop a swath of new hotels to serve as a base for exploring nearby attractions such as the blue pools of Paradise Valley and the waterfalls at Imouzzer.
Several hotels in Agadir offer all-inclusive deals, including the Riu Tikida Dunas and Riu Palace Tikida Taghazout. In December, visitors can take advantage of offers starting from as little as £359 per person for an all-inclusive package.
