Morocco’s Minister of Economic Inclusion, Younes Sekkouri, held talks with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Morocco, Nazim Samadov, on Friday in Rabat, reported Azeri Press Agency Azertac.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the Moroccan minister’s visit to Azerbaijan to attend the 5th Conference of Labor Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Baku this past November 21-23.
The parties also referred to the documents signed on November 13 as part of the 2nd session of the Azerbaijani-Moroccan Joint Intergovernmental Committee , which aim to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in their respective areas.
In this context, Sekkouri and Samadov emphasized the significance of the newly-created technical partnership which will govern the appropriate activities relevant to each relevant sector.
The ministers also called for an online meeting to take place involving representatives of the relevant institutions in each country, in order to address the provisions of the aforementioned documents in more detail.
Sekkouri also highlighted the importance of sharing expertise between the ministries and asserted that the Moroccan side had extensive experience–particularly in the field of vocational training–while adding that it is willing to share its experiences within this realm.
