Morocco leads all African countries, came in fourth in the Arab world, and scored 48th worldwide in the recently published “Quality of Life” ranking compiled by “U.S News and World Report.”
The Kingdom presides as the continental leader in the global ranking, beating Egypt (52nd), South Africa (55th), Tunisia (64th), and Kenya (70th).
The United Arab Emirates was ranked as the best Arab country in the “Quality of Life” category (26th), followed by Qatar (27th), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (30th), and then Morocco.
Multiple variables were taken into consideration in this ranking, such as access to food, affordability of housing, quality of education and of health care, the current state of the job market, and the level of political stability, individual freedom, and environmental quality, respectively.
