American IT giant Oracle has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Morocco’s Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform to stimulate the development of digital skills in the kingdom, taking advantage of Oracle’s broad expertise, resources, and software.
The purpose of the collaboration is to reshape Morocco’s educational landscape to meet the goals of Morocco’s “National Plan for Accelerating the Transformation of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation” by 2030 (PACTE ESRI 2030).
Utilizing Oracle’s significant knowledge, resources, and software, the plan is to enhance students’ skills and capabilities in numerous fields and future digital technologies, with a specific focus on the creation and implementation of Code 212 Centers in Moroccan universities.
The partnership will facilitate Morocco’s goal of becoming a major producer of digital solutions that meet the needs of national and international investors.
As part of the agreement, teachers and students will have free and unlimited access to Oracle’s vast training programs, learning resources, and software in various digital fields.
Digital students will also have the opportunity to obtain Oracle’s professional certifications in the most in-demand technologies, thereby enhancing their career prospects.
