Africa Business Insider, Pan-African Magazine, listed Morocco as the 9th most stable country in Africa for 2023, scoring 68.2 points, according to its report that came out last Tuesday.
The magazine highlighted important developments some unexpectedly positive experiences such as the peaceful transition of power to booming economies, on a continent known for its constant instability, especially in political and economic terms.
Mauritius was ranked first in the scoring with 38 points, followed by Seychelles (53 points), and Botswana in third with 55.3 points. Cape Verde mustered fourth position with 60.1 points, while Namibia closed out the top five ranking with 60.3 points.
The study showcased experiences in over 40 countries, with an emphasis on early detection of conflict, peacebuilding, and sustainable development.
