Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Todd D. Robinson will pay a visit to both Morocco and Algeria from November 12–21, announced the U.S. Department of State on Monday.
During the visit, Robinson will discuss with both nations key initiatives and advance shared interests of security, stability, and economic prosperity.
According to the press release, Assistant Secretary Robinson will meet with security, justice, and law enforcement officials, along with other relevant stakeholders to stress the importance of transparent, accountable, and effective justice systems as essential components of good governance.
He will also emphasize the U.S. commitment to supporting these two countries in enhancing their legal frameworks and improving their law enforcement capabilities.
