Palestinian Ambassador to Morocco Jamal Choubki praised the current Arab stance regarding the escalation in Gaza, pointing to the need to exert greater pressure on American interests to intervene and stop the Israeli bombing, in an interview with Sky News on Tuesday.
He added that the Arab position is stronger today, but that the situation needs more solidarity and pressure, to help move U.S. policy more in the direction of Arab interests.
Choubki continued in saying that since the beginning of American President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel—particularly with respect to his immediate and unquestioning acceptance of the complete Israeli narrative regarding the bombing of Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza—he has given Israel his full support, and has left open the issue of the “killing of civilians in Gaza.”
The Ambassador added that Gaza has exclusively civilians–2.2 million Palestinians, in fact–half of them children who are unarmed.
He concluded that today Gaza is either black with Israeli missile gunpowder or red with Palestinian blood.
