After the surge of devastation in Gaza from Israeli strikes over the past ten days, resulting in a death toll of more than 3,478 deaths and more than 12,065 injuries, the PJD Party repeated its call for Israel’s liaison Office in Rabat to be closed, condemning the “brutal Zionist aggression.”
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the party urged swift and resolute action at the highest levels to end the war and “Israel’s genocide of the people in Gaza.” It called upon Arab and Islamic countries, as well as what it described as the “free people of the world,” to help the Palestinians and reject the oppressive and criminal acts of the Zionist entity. It also demanded an end to all forms of “normalization” with Israel.
The party announced its full support for legitimate Palestinian resistance in its struggle against Israel’s intensive military bombardment in retaliation to Hamas’ “Al Aqsa Flood” attack. It also appealed to Western powers that continue to support the Zionist occupation to “use their remaining humanity and conscience” to urgently intervene and pressure Israel to stop the inhumane acts in Gaza, which it asserted “will forever remain a stain on humanity.”
The PJD strongly condemned Israel’s “deliberate ethnic cleansing in Gaza, targeting of innocent civilians, particularly children and women, in their homes.”
Ominously, it said the PJD holds America and its Western allies, who are directly participating in the Israeli military operations, “fully and directly responsible, as they obstructed the Security Council’s resolution that calls for an end to the aggression on Gaza.”
