Morocco’s Royal Armed Forces (FAR) took part as a prominent participant in the Indus Shield-2023 Multinational Air Exercise that started Monday, organized by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) at one of its operating facilities, uniting 14-nations’ air forces from across the world in a demonstration of international camaraderie and airpower.
Morocco’s participation in this exercise, which included highly regarded air forces from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, China, Hungary, and others, marked an important chapter in the country’s commitment to advancing military capabilities and fostering international relations.
Morocco participated in Indus Shield-2023 supervised by Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mehmood Ghazi, demonstrating its aviation capabilities and operational capabilities in real-time war scenarios and combat missions.
Morocco’s participation not only highlighted its commitment to modernize its military forces, but also emphasized improved mutual understanding and interoperability with international allies.
Mahmoud Ghazi affirmed at the event’s inception that training was crucial, and that the focus was on attaining common objectives in the face of the ever-evolving circumstances of modern aerial fighting techniques.
Furthermore, by replicating real-time war scenarios and numerous combat tasks, the exercise provided the air and ground crews with significant instructional experience in these distinct tactical areas.
