Casablanca will host the 7th edition of “Aerospace Meetings Casablanca” exhibition under the title “International Business Convention for the Aerospace Industry,” according to a news release provided by “Aerospace Meetings Casablanca,” to take place from October 3-5.
The event is a B2B exhibition intended to showcase different brands, share insights and ideas, and create networks through targeted business meetings.
The event will gather 250 companies and 650 participants from 20 different countries overall in various workshops, conferences sessions, and business meetings.
Morocco has been active in the aerospace industry for over 20 years and has now entered a new era of growth centered on innovative technologies and engineering, the promotion of specialized aerospace professions, and the development of groundbreaking projects.
The Moroccan aeronautical industry is constantly moving forward, a testament to the sector’s strong base in industrial and safety standards, as well as the Kingdom’s aeronautical ecosystem’s capacity to rise to new challenges, according to Said Benhajjou, president of the Moroccan Group of Aeronautical and Space Industries (GIMAS).
Industrial sector growth, cutting-edge logistics, Morocco’s geographical placement and stability, and investment in worker training and certification–aided by the Kingdom’s geographical placement and political stability–are the foundations of the Moroccan aviation industry’s competitiveness, he added.
Head of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE), Ali Seddiki, emphasized that the aviation industry has lately gone through challenging stages, and that these obstacles are becoming proportionately higher for small and medium firms.
Director at the Ministry of Industry Afaf Saidi stated that this convention is one of the most important large-scale meetings of the entire aeronautical industry and that it is thereby a platform on which to discuss the obstacles and challenges which confront the sector’s future. Just as significantly, the forum presents an opportunity to strengthen the networking process for aeronautical industry stakeholders and to thereby attract potential investment.
