The Spanish aerospace group Aciturri Aeroengines moved into Casablanca following the acquisition of the Moroccan company GOAM Industrie, according to a press release by the company on Thursday.
“Aciturri Aeroengines has formalised the acquisition of GOAM Industrie, an engine components manufacturer located near Casablanca (Morocco) and a company specialised in high-precision blade machining for the main aircraft engine platforms,” the release outlined.
The company characterized this as a “new step forward” in their internationalization efforts and a step towards its goal of boosting the group’s capacity to collaborate with major aircraft manufacturers such as Safran, Rolls-Royce, General Electric, and Pratt & Whitney.
It would also provide Aciturri Aeroengines with the technological and industrial resources required to expand their portfolio of products and services to the international market.
This is Acitturi’s second such acquisition in less than one year, following the acquisition of Malichaud Atlantique, a French company that specialized in high-precision blades and vanes, at the end of 2022.
