The Moroccan Tourism Office (ONMT) has launched a nationwide campaign to encourage people visit Marrakech during Eid Mawlid Annabawi (birth of the prophet), and the upcoming October school holidays, tweeted ONMT on Saturday.
The campaign, titled “Ntla9awfMarrakech” (Let’s Meet in Marrakech), and promoted under the brand “Ntla9awfbladna” (Let’s Meet in Our Country), seeks to foster solidarity among Moroccans by inviting them to visit Marrakech and encourage local tourism, especially after the devastating earthquake that hit the country on September 8.
The campaign kicked off on Saturday via social media and national television channels; and starting on Monday, a comprehensive communication plan will be executed across digital and print media to ensure maximum visibility.
ONMT reaffirmed its commitment to taking necessary actions nationally and internationally to mitigate the impact of recent challenges and restore the positive momentum in the tourism sector.
