The Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) unveiled a three-pronged education action plan on Wednesday that will help Moroccans affected by the earthquake that rocked so many Moroccan central regions almost two weeks ago, according to a press release.
The project includes a six-month internship and training program for 30 master’s students from stricken provinces or those with ancestral connections to such provinces, as well as an immersion program for undergraduates from affected provinces, regardless of residency or family ties.
This three-year program will incorporate critical areas of the think tank’s expertise, such as economics and international relations research, strategic intelligence and monitoring, research valorization, and project management.
Engaging in hands-on learning in think-tank operations, beneficiaries of the program will work with and learn from experts and think tank staff, actively participating in high-caliber events.
PCNS is a Moroccan think tank dedicated to the improvement of domestic and international economic and social public policies.
PCNS’s triple solidarity initiative will support reconstruction efforts, in accordance with its mission to foster unity, resilience, and solidarity.
