Morocco’s National Police (DGSN) has trucked in two mobile bakeries in the Tahanaout region outside of Marrakech to boost critical supplies of bread, DGSN stated in a news release on Wednesday.
These mobile bakeries are fully integrated and easily transportable, complete with electric dough machines, baking ovens, and 24-hour bread preparation equipment.
The daily production capacity of the two mobile units is 6,200 to 8,000 baguettes per day, with some built-in extra capacity if needed.
The bakeries have a staff of 42 who will prepare the bread and serve the needy under the supervision of two inspectors who will ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
