An important 7-magnitude earthquake rocked Morocco on Friday, according to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ), as reported by Reuters.
The quake took place at a depth of 10km.
The tremor was felt mostly in big cities like Rabat and Casablanca (central Morocco). Marrakech seems to be the hardest hit with cracks starting to appear on some walls.
Most citizens left their houses to the streets, fearing another bigger quake.
