Smarti Lab, a research, development, and innovation laboratory affiliated with Morocco’s School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI), won two gold medals at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN), held in Toronto Canada from August 23rd to the 26th.
800 inventions made by participants from 50 countries throughout the world participated in the event.
The Smarti Lab team received two gold medals: one for a green, smart, and mobile wastewater treatment station and the second for a rapid assessment tool for meat quality.
The “Smart Wastewater Treatment Station” (SGWT) is an innovation designed to revolutionize wastewater recycling by developing a mobile green wastewater treatment station that stands out for its compact design, robustness, and ease of transport, as well as its ability to adapt to the quality and type of water to be treated.
“The Meat Quality Verification System” (SMT) is a system that offers a simple and rapid solution for assessing the quality of different types of meat. This smart system is based on sophisticated mechanisms for analyzing meat quality using specialized integrated units.
EMSI has received 85 national and international prizes and medals as a result of its participation in events such as ICAN in Canada, Silicon Valley in the United States, the International Innovation Fair in China, and ISIF in Turkey.
