Zoa Moroccan Kitchen, a Moroccan fast-casual restaurant in the US state of Texas, is opening its third restaurant in the Houston Texas area, in the neighborhood of Upper Kirby, after making Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in Texas List, said Houston-based news outlet Chron on Wednesday.
Zoa Moroccan Kitchen focuses on offering nutritious takes on Moroccan and other North African foods in the form of DIY bowls and sandwiches. If customers want something ready-made, there are also several “Faves” featured on the Zoa menu that customers can chose from.
Zoa also features signature drinks that would be familiar to anyone who knows North Africa, including Moroccan Mint Tea and Moroccan Lemonade.
They also offer meal prep services to their clients, and all their food features vegetarian and halal options.
Zoa is owned by Youssef Nafaa, who is also the CEO of the Bella Restaurant Group, founded in 1998. According to his LinkedIn and his Instagram, he is also a chef who studied culinary arts in Chicago in the mid-1990s. He also owns a waffles and coffee restaurant, an Andalusian tapas bar and restaurant, and an Italian trattoria, among others.
