Lodisna, a Spanish transport and logistics company that has operated throughout Europe since 2007, announced on Monday the opening of a new operations center in Tangier.
“Our arrival in Morocco is an important step. As a company from Navarra, we have opened a center in a new country, strengthening our internationalization strategy, and this highlights our interest in crossing borders and taking our innovation proposal to new markets and sectors,” said the CEO of Lodisna, Igor Beguiristain.
The press release outlined that Spain is one of Morocco’s most important trading partners and ranks as the main foreign trade country. It added that data from the International Trade Center show that Spain accounts for 19.7% of Morocco’s exports and 14.1% of its imports, making it the leading foreign trade country.
In 2019, 33 Spanish logistics companies opened in the north African country.
