Morocco delivered 100 Tons of fertilizers to El Salvador, which reached the warehouse of the Banco de Fomento Agropecuario, in the port city of Acajutla. The shipment was met by the Moroccan charge d’affaires in El Salvador, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Salvadoran Minister of Agriculture, according to the Diario El Salvador outlet.
The Salvadoran government thanked Morocco for the shipment, and expressed hope to strengthen cooperation between Morocco and El Salvador.
The administration of Nayib Bukele, current president of El Salvador and grandson of a Palestinian and Greek nationals, has been praised for investing in agriculture as an essential component of the country’s economic growth.
El Salvador’s Minister of Agriculture and Livestock emphasized the significance of respecting producers and increasing agricultural output to enhance profitability. The Bukele administration has said it will deliver fertilizers to Salvadoran rural families, thus contributing to the country’s agricultural prosperity.
