The company Honda announced its preparations the fourth edition of Honda Adventure Roads event, a 10-day excursion across multiple wild landscapes of Morocco, set to take place in 2024. The event will feature one of Honda’s newest motorcycles, called an ‘adventure bike’, which will be provided by Honda to all participants.
A maximum of 30 riders will cover an incredible 1,700 kilometers of varied terrain. The course will run through a number of Morocco’s most recognizeable regions, as well as some new routes.
The journey begins in the coastal city of Agadir and proceeds east to the dunes of M’hamid’s, the mountain of Gara Medouar, the steep descent of Dades Canyon, and the mountains and valleys leading to the Moroccan cultural capital of Fez.
The final leg of the route will take riders through Tazekka National Park, before reaching the finish line in the northern, Mediterranean city of Nador.
The bikes, which will be provided, are the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin adventure bikes. The cost of the event for riders is €6,000 (approximately 64,769 MAD).
Honda will also offer a Tripy II GPS system for navigation and Owaka live tracking for security. The bikes will come with all necessary accessories, and “all top-class accommodation, luggage transport, food, navigation, fuel and medical support,” according to the Honda Adventure Roads website.
