Morocco’s police services conducted, over two days (Wednesday and Thursday), successful anti-drug trafficking operations and nabbed seven dealers in Marrakech and El Jadida. A cocktail of drugs (coke, chira, Bouffa, ecstasy) was also seized.
In Marrakesh, police arrested Wednesday four dealers for carrying 798g of coke and 1kg of chira. The police also confiscated two cars.
In El Jadida, officers detained on Thursday three suspects while riding an SVU. 21g of Bouffa, 1,000 ecstasy pills, 846g of chira, coke doses, and 5,568 packs used for glue sniffing were concealed in the vehicle.
Policemen also took possession of an electronic scale, forged car plates, knives, and smoke bombs allegedly used for physical assault.
The suspects were remanded in police custody to finish the investigation under the public prosecution.
