Chelsea agreed to transfer Moroccan right winger Hakim Ziyech to Turkish club Galatasaray. Hakim is awaiting a medical checkup before signing the contract, according to BBC Sport on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old forward already underwent failed moves to join French Paris St-Germain and Al Nassr’s Saudi Pro League.
Ziyech has played 107 games for Chelsea since leaving Dutch Club Ajax and joining the English football club in 2020. The transfer cost Chelsea 33.3 Mln pounds.
Ziyech seems to be on the fringe in Chelsea, despite a £900 million investment in players by American investor Todd Boehly and his Clearlake group.
Hakim stood out when he played for Morocco, the first African nation ever to reach the World Cup semis.
