Moroccan Tourism Office (ONMT) recently teamed up with Wego, the famed online travel marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa, to advertise the Moroccan destination, which offers travelers memorable experiences with its pristine landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and legendary hospitality, as per a Wego press release on Wednesday.
“Wego continues to partner with leading tourism boards globally to provide more choice for travelers and promote the best of those destinations, making it easier for travelers to discover their unhidden charms,” wrote the release.
“We are excited to begin our partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office,” stated Mamoun Hmedan, Wego Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director for MENA and India.
This collaboration is meant to inspire and enchant travelers all around the world, igniting a sense of wanderlust. With over 2 million searches so far, we have seen a 39% rise in the number of searches for Morocco in 2023 compared to last year. We look forward to developing a long-term relationship with the board, he added.
The press release unveiled Morocco’s allure through the promotion of many activities, cultural heritage, and gastronomy.
Morocco offers an exceptionally diverse summer experience for guests of various backgrounds. Buffs can immerse themselves in the culture and history of old medinas and souks in Marrakech and Fez.
