Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita held a phone call on Wednesday with Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, British Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and the United Nations. The phone conversation turned on the current events in the region and Africa.
Wimbledon described the talks as “constructive,” tweeting that the call touched on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the situation in Niger and Libya, as well as broader bilateral and regional issues.
On this occasion, Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon sent his warm wishes to King Mohammed VI on Throne Day.
The two Kingdoms conducted in May the fourth round of their strategic dialogue, a chance for London to highlight that the long-standing cooperation can grow stronger and expand to critical sectors as education, commerce, and climate change.
