Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez is currently spending his summer vacation with his family in Morocco, reported Spanish news agency “EFE”.
The Prime Minister traveled on a commercial flight to Marrakech for a strictly private trip, which he fully paid out of his pocket, as no political agenda is planned for this break.
The vacation of Sánchez and his loved ones in Morocco is not the first for Spanish officials, former presidents José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and Felipe González, both Socialists, used to spend vacations and holidays in Morocco.
In 2011, Zapatero spent New Year’s Eve with his close family circle in the northern city of Tangier along with his then-foreign minister, Trinidad Jiménez.
