Moroccan students secured 41 of the sixty spots allotted for foreign students for admission to Preparatory Classes (CPGE) of the Ecole Polytechnique de Paris (X), one of France’s finest engineering schools, according to “Le Figaro Etudiant”.
Moroccans came atop the list of foreign candidates, followed by Tunisians who got 10 spots. The rest got one place each: Algeria, Austria, Canada, Chili, China, Congo, Lebanon, Romania, Czech Republic.
Moroccan applicants’ accomplishments signal Morocco’s academic brilliance, which was lauded in 2021 by Galle Le Goff, Director of International Relations at the same institute, in an opinion piece issued by “Le Figaro”.
By 2022, sixteen Moroccan students had already gained access to the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique de Paris. Thirteen of whom have been previously enrolled in the Lycée d’excellence de Benguérir (Lydex).
This success validates the quality of the national education system as well as the devotion and dedication of Moroccan students.
